hey,
im building a deck that is about 16 in. below the rim joist of my house. Therefore, the leger board would be attached to the cement foundation. How would I attach thge leger to cement, or is there an alternative?
thanks

:) There is a new deck hanger that attaches the ledger to the concrete foundation. It eliminates attaching the ledger to the framing structure of the house. No need for any FLASHING. Go to WWW.HANGRITE.COM . Email me if you have any ??

Or you could rent a Hilti gun from Home Depot for short money and drive the concrete nails into your foundation.
