I saw a program on TV about Mortarless Brick that can be easily installed on the exterior walls of a home. I can not remember the name of the brick and can not find any information on it. I remember they said the company that makes it has a web site. Does anybody have information on this brick?

I believe the program was TLC's Home Savvy with JoAnne Liebler. The product shown was Nova Brik. There is a website: http://www.novabrik.com/

We have actually sold several jobs of the product. Here are some points:
- it IS NOT cheaper than clay brick (unit to unit)
- it is DIY friendly, requiring no masonry contractor
- after become familiar with product, a man can install 3 or 4 thousand a day (a bricklayer typically can do less than 1,000)
- you do get a clean 1" airspace... air is a natural insulator
- can be installed in the cold or rain... no excuses why work is not progressing
- no water is needed on jobsite... unless you want some to drink
- it cannot be used below grade... because it is an open system
- it can withstand hurricane force winds
- water will not penetrate the wall
- you must caluculate corners and sills (brick do all functions)

Good luck in your project.
