Ihave refinished my coffee table with spray gloss lacquer & part of the table has a nice finish but some areas are not shiny-seem to have a white fuzzy appearance--Can that be corrected by more spray or thinner? Please help

Betty:
The surface has blushed - that is moisture has become trapped int he finish because it dried (on the surface) faster than the humidity could be released.
Respraying with lacquer should correct the problem, but there's another solution. It involves a little more work, but will insure you don't wind up with the same problem amplified.
From an automotive supply store, purchase Turtle Wax Polishing Compound and Scratch Remover. This has a very fine abrasive in it which will wear down the finish you applied enough to remove the trapped white marks, as well as polishing the surface to a uniform sheen.
Use across the entire top - not just the affected areas, for uniformity of appearance.
