I have a rheem seer 10, the furnace in the house runs on cool, but i do not notice the outside unit running, the relay does ingage when the unit is turned on, but the fan in outside unit doesnt run, what do u think i can do without calling in a tech.

try spinning outdoor fan by hand . If fan motor runs you need a new capacitor. also be sure compressor is running.if you have no air coming out of supply ducts in house you probably need to replace filter.That is if indoor fan is running.

engagerd means contactor recieving 24 volts, and pulled in, be sure that your voltage is going across these points. is compressor is running with no fan either burnt wire, bad cap or fan. if compressor is not running, and you are getting 240 volts across contactor, check for dual cap that runs both comp and fan. be sure you have 240 outside, if you lost one leg, would also have these symptoms. if i confused you let me know, good luck
