We are moving out to the country where there are deer. I am a rose and perennial gardner. Is there a list somewhere of plants that deer love? Any way to deter them that is successful?

It's usually 'hit or miss' with deer. Pardon the pun.
Twelvepole has supplied a good link for deer-proof plants, but don't let that guide you completely. My perennials have only been attacked once or twice in 16 years by my local herd. The veggie garden is a different story. I've seen eight or nine deer at one time in and near the veggies. And they also seem to know when the peaches are ripening!
