I am trying to remove paint from the foundation walls of my 1925 house. I have tried a paint stripper, which only tolk it down to the last coat which soaked into the foundation. I need to get paint off so I can re seal the foundation. I recently had water damage from a Sewer Main leak come into the foundation. Wall has been sanatized , I cant affford the sandblaster rental and have a slow draining floor drain for powerwashing. I have started to chisel some off but this will take for ever with 40' of wall space. Any ideas would be appriciated.

Use a masonry sealer that can be used over oil or latex paint. Benjamin Moore and other brands are available.
