The brick on the outside of my fireplace is actually "shedding" off...started at the top and has been chipping off over the years, about 2 to 3 ft. down. It looks terrible and makes a mess. The cement top is still intact but I'm worried about further damage. What can I do about this? Can it be repaired? How much would that cost? Would it be better to just enclose it with wood? Is this a possibility? Lots of questions! Any response would help. Also, what type of service would do such repair? Thanks alot! TMW
