I'm in the process of buying a a/c unit for my summer home and I'm looking for advise regarding portable a/c units. The largest residential unit I found is 12K BTU and uses a hose to filter air outside. I need a unit that could cool a 800+ sq ft house. Central air is very expensive, my windows are to small for a large window unit, and I don't want to put small units in multiple window.
