I just put up wallpaper in a tear technique creating an awesome visual and texture on the wall. Since there are so many overlays and edges that could possibly be torn loose I am looking for a clear glaze or sealant that would be safe to paint over or spray over the entire area. What can I use?

This is a fairly new technique with wallpaper. Many do the same thing with grocery store bags, but there are manufacturers out there that specifically sell wallpaper for this purpose. I hope you didn't go that route. The reason for that is since this is a "new" technique, they charge "new" overinflated prices when essentially you are just buying regular wallpaper.
I know many installers that use the exact same product that you would use on wood. Polyurethane. You will want to check out which one is right for you as they come in a variety of finishes (gloss, matte, etc.) and they can also be tinted various shades. Even the "clears" will cast a slightly darker end finish color as well. There are other protectant finishes you can use, but they are all generally more expensive and suffer the same darkening problems that the cheaper polys have.
Best of luck with your project! :)

Only use quick drying varnishes (waterbased/acrylic varnishes matt/ satin /gloss, as these are the one`s that dont go yellow............Why? You ask....Because they haven`t any oil content, silly!!
You can also use water based acrylic/glaze.
