We have a flagstone walkway about 15 feet long, set in sand, that connects our front porch to the road, and I have tried unsuccessfully to get anything to grow in the spaces between the stones. (We live at the beach.) What I would like to do now is to brush into the spaces between the stones a mixture of sand and Sacrete-type stuff, giving us a reasonably smooth walkway as opposed to what we have now.

Will this work? Any suggestions as to ratio of sand/Sacrete? TIA...
