We just moved and before we painted I scrubbed the walls and noticed many areas where it looked as if someone threw a glass of water against the wall and didn't even attempt to clean it up. Once I scrubbed they disappeared, however the are appearing again on the walls we just painted. How can I fix this problem?

julbox3134, hard to tell from here exactly what kind of stains you have but it sounds like water stains. Whatever they are an oil primer stain killer like Zinsser BIN, KILZ Original or any good interior oil primer should hold them back. Touch up or repaint when dry.....Mike
