I have no clue when it comes to electrical wiring and I made a big mistake today. I took down a light fixture to replace it with a new one, and now I want to put the old one back up but all the wires are seperated now and I dont know what goes where. There are four sets of wires coming into the box. Two sets each contain a bare copper wire, a white wire, a black wire, and a red wire. The other two sets each contain a bare copper wire, a white wire, and a black wire. This light is controlled by two light switches and I belive a smoke detecor is connected to all of this somehow. Please help!
