Hi all
I wish to paint clouds on my ceilings. I have gotten as far as
the sky blue back ground but am not to sure how to go about doing the clouds. I dont want to make them all white I would like to be able to see through some of the white to see the blue sky. Not very good at free hand so if I could sponge them it would be better for me. Any help or a web sight that describes it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Dave

Using a cheescloth would be better, a softer, subtler look, more blended...glaze your cloud 'color' paint to give you transluscence...pick an offwhite like Moore's 'Cloud White' as the paint. Practice on a piece of wall or closet door, or cardboard first.

Here's a thread with lots of ideas...
