I have a small area of ceramic tile that I want to paint to match the surrounding wall. I tried priming, then painting, but the paint is peeling/sliding off the ceramic.

What is the best way to approach this? I assume there is some surface preparation (sanding?) involved?

Thanks,

Jon

You likely used the wrong primer....but in any case, sand all the failing paint off now, wash the dust off...prime with Bullseye 1-2-3, Aqua Lock, C-I-L Problem Solver (my favorite) or Fresh Start...leave 24 hours, then paint. A light sanding before the primer always helps. Once the primer and paint has cured (about 14-28 days), you'll be just fine.
