Hi everyone. I would like to replace my window blinds to curtains. I bought a curtain rod and rod holders and tried drilling holes in the plaster, only to find out that the screws securing the holders loosen the plaster. The screws turn out to be loose and don't support the holders.
Is there any way to secure screws in loose plaster that crumble easily?
Thanks in advance. :)

You'll have to use butterfly bolts or molly bolts.
Drill holes large enough for the folded spring-loaded butterfly or molly bolts, and install them that way. Make sure that the machine screws that come with the butterfly bolts will more than clear the back of the plaster wall.
Good Luck!
