My wife and I have just finished putting down a 1/2 inch plywood subfloor and need to choose a carpet and pad that will be comfortable and last a long time. We have a 70lb lab that runs through the house and 2 kids . We want wall to wall and up the stairs. Entire 1st floor is high traffic. Thanks
