How do you simply remove a screen (for repair or to wash window) from a storm window?

This seems like such a stupid question, but I have been over the windows with a fine tooth comb, and cannot find any release mechanism to remove with screen short of deforming the screen frame.

The only markings on the windows is "GA".

The are on a house built in about 1992, in Houston/League City, TX.

I have searched the net for "GA storm windows", but this forum is the only real help I've found.

All help/clues are greatly appreciated.

TIA.

IF they are "single hung", that is, the inner glass will slide up and down, the outer glass is in the same track as the screen, with the glass on top and the screen on bottom......GOOD LUCK. A lot of them you have to really pry the screen to get it out of it's track....they are a really STUPID, cheap design.

Some also use a "spring" type clip on the sides...you pry the screen to the side the clip is on, compressing it and that allows you to take the screen out.....it's still tight, since the upper glass is putting pressure on the screen, and will FALL once the screen does come out.....WATCH YOUR FINGERS !
