I have an aluminum window in my bathroom that i want to replace. This window is in the bathtub/shower area. Surrounding this window is, of course, tile. To remove this window, all i'd need to do is cut the calking around the window and push it outward?. Note: I have regular wood shingles on this exterior wall.
Also, what is your recommendations/procedure to install a new window.

typically there will be nails or screws holding the window in. These might be on the outside wall or in the jam itself. Hard to know without seeing it
