I have patio doors with an oak veneer finish. I have some bubbles in the finish. The bubbles are in the center of the face of the frame, and are not cracked and offer no way to introduce glue under the damaged area. I have searched the forums and understand the process of gluing and clamping, but my wife and I are at odds with how to get glue under the area needing repair.
I am a guy, so I want to slce it open to make sure I get a good coverage of glue. She is a nurse, so of course she wants to "inject" glue with a large syringe. Damage areas run from small to 1" x 6". Any input would be helpful. Thanks, Dave.
P.S. The doors have never been installed, the finish, with the exception of the bubbles, is excellant. I bought the doors like this, Bargain!

Your wife has the best idea with the syringe.
