My husband and I are getting ready to install a tile countertop on to a custom made bathroom vanity. The dimensions are 48 inches wide and 21 inches deep. We are trying to decide which ceramic tiles to use on the countertop. We're contemplating between using a 12x12 tile which matches our floor tile or a 4x4 white tile which matches the shower wall. Any feedback in the tile size would be welcome.

The choice is really just yours. Either would look nice.
My wife had her 12X12" kitchen floor tiles put on the kitchen countertops, and they look great. She easily keeps them clean with a little ammonia water (2/3 water-1/3 ammonia) in a spray bottle as recommended by the tile installer.
The 12X12" would be much easier to install, sit small objects on, and keep clean than the smaller tiles with all of the grout, etc.
That would be my choice.
Good Luck!
