I am putting in a basement bathroom and I Intend to use either vinyl tile or sheet.

Do I need to use an underlayment? Do I need to do anything to protect against moisture from the slab?

If the concrete is in good condition and you have no pre-existing moisture problems then you can put the vinyl directly on it.
