I've got a canon bjc 4300 and it misses many lines in the printing. Like when I print a picture, there are white streakes through it. It doesnt always do this, but enough to make it annoying. I've replaced the print cartridge, but this is expensive so I'm hoping someone will know how to fix it. Thanks everybody

It sounds like a printhead problem. First how old is your printer? What is your highest dpi option? Try printing on your highest quality and see if it makes the lines change.

printer is 2 years old
resolution is 720x360 dpi

it printed really nice when it was new..
