Does anyone have tips about making a bathroom sink? As an artist I have access to a ceramic kiln and materials. I want to make a terra cotta sink but am not sure what codes/safety measures I need to keep in mind. Can anyone help?

I don't think that there are any particular codes for vanity bathroom sinks...just codes for the plumbing that is connected to them.
They can and do come in all kinds of shapes and sizes and materials.
The only thing that I would think about planning into a hand-crafted one would be an overflow hole built into it below the inside sink rim to the drain. Go to a place that sells them and take a good look at the methods used for this.
If you're making the countertop, too, you will need to plan in the 4" center or 6" center faucet holes, as well.
Good Luck!
