Over the weekend I was assembling some bedroom furniture for my neighbors children. I notices the manufacturer used 2 sheets of unsealed 2 x 6 x 1/2 MDF as the base for the mattress. I know that MDF contains and emits formaldehyde. Should this be something to be concerned about or not. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.
