we have torn the bathroom out to the plywood floors(bath on the second floor) plan to tile floor we want to use wonderboard on the floor prior to tile installation... our question is, do we put the wonderboard board on the floor before or after the new vanity has been set in place???

We just finished the same project. We chose to go ahead and tile under the new vanity. Our reasoning was that if the vanity ever needed to be replaced, our options would be open. You will be making the new vanity a little higher than it was related to your plumbing, so you might need to buy new connections.
