I'm redoing my bathroom and after putting ceramic tile down on the floor I'm not looking forward to going around the walls. I'm putting a pedastal sink in and I was thinking about putting something along the lines of wainscoting paneling on the walls and either staining it or painting it. What would be the best type of wood to use in a bathroom? Also, any other ideas or before and after pics would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I guess if I were going to wainscoat in a bath I would use either redwood or cypress. Both hold up well in moisture. What else do they use in saunas?
Why not just use green sheetrock (for damp areas) and paper or paint over that?
