I am going to install a hardwood floor in my kitchen and family room. Several people have advised that I need some advise on how to make sure I don't block-in my dishwasher in the process.
I also have a range insert that sits on the floor, but the top is flush with the countertop.
How do I solve these problems.
Thanks,
Dudley

Base cabinets can be removed and hardwood installed beneath the cabinets. Another option is to substitute 3/4" plywood in the area beneath the cabinets. This may, however, limit future kitchen redesigning if cabinets are not installed using the exact same layout.
