I'm looking into building a house in Woodloch Springs in PA. They are gonna build the house with 2x6 exterior walls. What is the maximum R factor I could get with the insulation? Thanx for the help.

you can purchase high density batts which are 5 1/2" thick and have a r-value of 21. Standard r-19 batt installed in a 2 x 6 cavity tends to give you a bit less than r-19 since you are compressing the 6 1/4" batt into a stud space which is only 5 1/2" thick.
material costs between the 2 is about 30% higher for the r-21 over the r-19..
Good Luck
