I asked a question several weeks ago about a cherry table I have that was stored next to a furnace and all the planks of the table top warped (cupped). I recieved a helpful response explaining how the cupping occured and asking for a response from me if I wanted to pursue the subject. I know I have to dismantle the table top to its individual planks and then press the warpage out. What I don't know is how to dismantle the top without wrecking the glued edges and I don't know how to press out the warpage. I appreciate the response I got previously from George T., and I am looking forward to the next response.

Sorry about the delay.
Separating the top into individual planks invollves disolving the glue that binds them. Usually, warm vinegar will work with everything but the newer glues (including epoxies).
I know, it's a smelly process, but in order to take the pieces apart, as you have noted, you must at least loosen the glue first. Vinegar usually works for me.
