some of the rooms in my home are wallpapered. when we went to remove this paper we found out that the wallpapering was hung directly to the paper on the dry wall. As we stripped the old paper off we would also tear the paper covering off the dry wall. Is there any safe way of removing this wallpaper or would it be safer to wall paper over the existing paper?
