We are planning on cutting & shaping our own 4"x4" wooden tiles for a floor. We are unsure of what to use to attach them to the floor & what to use for grout. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanx!!!!

Wood floor tiles are typically laminated products which have the advantage of being dimensionally stable. Depending on the manufacturer, these products can be glued, stapled, or nailed down. Some can be floated in. Grout is not used with wood. Solid wood tends to expand and contract as the temperature and humidity levels fluctuate in the home. Using grout with solid wood flooring will result in grout failure.
