hi!
I've got a slight problem with some old glue. This glue is on my stairs, I want to remove it before I polish them, the stairs that is.
Whats the best way of getting rid of old glue. I don't want to use any strong thinners etc because we've got a 6 week old babe in the house.

I've had great success using citris based strippers for glue removal. no fumes works fast and is easy to clean up. You could also try goof off it seems to work really well on vinyl glue and yellow glue. good luck

The citrus based strippers are reported to be much more environmentally friendly than the strong solvent strippers. It may take a little longer and a little more stripper, but you won't have the fumes.
