I think I might need a fourth coat of mud because I am geeting spots on my drywall in the bathroom. I might have to Skim coat? What tools do I need and what drywall compound should I use. Thank You

You can use regular sheetrock mud.
If it's getting air bubble spots in it, add al ittle wAter and mix it a bit more creamy.
Use a 12" sheetrock blade to skim coat.
