I have heard and read about wet sanding and am wondering if you can tell me a little about this? Can we wet sand an entire room that we are dry walling? What are the benifts to wet sanding vs dry sanding? HOW do you do it? Thanks!

Wet sanding is done with a wet sponge. You rub the wet sponge over the area to be sanded. I use this method with patch work. It is very effective when feathering a patch to existing painted surfaces. I wouldn't use this method with an entire room. It isn't effective with any surface that needs excessive sanding. Meaning if you have any really high spots you could rub all day. Although if you have a good finish job and have dust concerns you may want to try it.
