I plan to install a brick and board floor in the kitchen and breakfast nook of my newly purchased home. This will involve the taking-up of existing ceramic tile, under which I anticipate finding the concrete slab.
The wood strips will be laid in a grid pattern with brick pavers in between. Can I glue the wood strips right to the concrete slab? What kind of wood floor should I use?
