My old roof is in terrible shape. The metal is so weak, i don't think it will even support myself being on top. What is the best way to replace or build over existing roof?

Other than tearing the existing roof off and starting over I have seen two different ways it can be done. In Arizona they build an awning over the mobile home. I have also seen them tear off the metal roof and install trusses, sheathing and shingles. I hope that gives you some ideas.

With any new roofing system on a mobile home you'll have to be aware of the weight factor.Spray foam applications are light but do not function well. The only material I've seen used in your case has been rubber roofing and it seems to work well as long as there are no seams. This would not be a DIY project as the weight of the entire roll would require a mechanical lift(crane, etc)Some roofing co.s will deliver the roll directly on to the roof for an extra charge-make absolute sure it's placed in the exact spot so it can be easily unrolled/installed-near impossible to re-locate roll on roof! And be sure you have secured it properly with the specified fasteners to avoid blow-off in high winds.
