I framed my basement using metal studs. I brought it out 4 inches from the poured concrete walls. My quetion now is how do I attach the insulation to the metal studs. I heard somwhere that I can apply a spray adhesive to the back of the insulation paper and just glue it to the concrete. Is that ok, or does that sound ridiculous?

good choice on the metal studs
metal framed sized batts are your answer here
no need for " attaching " them to the framing
but you will not find them in the local home center
call a pro company that handles residential and comercial installs
they may be able to supply and install the correct dimension material
