My front porch is concrete, surrounded by brick. The concrete section has been painted several times and the paint is peeling and cracked. I'd like to remove the paint and leave the concrete unpainted. Would you advise this? If so, how should I remove the paint and what, if anything, do I need to do to treat the concrete to leave it unpainted?

Thanks.

Use a paint stripper. There are many on the market. I recommend one of the peel-away products. Just follow directions on the can.

Always follow the directions on the can. Too many DIYers don't or misunderstand the directions. If you choose a different product then there are 2 key things to remember:
1: Brush it on, but do not over brush. Over brushing will lessen its effectiveness.
2: Let it work. It takes more than a few minutes to work effectively
