I have searched for 3 months on different things to do with a painted fireplace. I tried everything to try to take the paint off chemical, wire brush, adn elbow grease. After all this I was down to sand blasting or a guy to come in with some type of acid to remove it. I found z brick to reface the fireplace, it is easy with little dirt and alot easier then anything else I found. Thank God for z brick!!!!
