I have a widow living in my neighborhood that I am trying to help out by fixing up her home. The major problem at this time is the iron stains on the vinyl siding. This comes from the old sprinkler heads in the yard. The stains are fairly large, V shaped and light brown in color.
Does any one know how to remove the stains without the use of toxic materials?

Try a TSP (Trisodiumphosphate) solution in a small spot with a gentle(or stiff if required) scrub brush. It's a great cleaner. Any hardware store or paint store should carry it. Hope this helps some. :)
