I am replacing my toilet with a newer one and upon removing the toilet off of the wax gasket noticed that the floor flange has been cracked and will no longer support any bolts etc to hold down the toilet. The flange and pipe are pvc. I removed one screw that was going into the floor through the flange but it will not come off of the pipe. How do i remove this flange to replace it with a new one.? I do not know if it is glued on but definately will not come off.

You can repair the existing flange with something like this:

OR, hacksaw blade the old PVC flange into quarters (do NOT cut into the pipe), chip the four sections out with a chisel, and glue a new one in.
Good Luck!
