I've made a dreadful mistake and painted my sons wooden playhouse with a blue waterbased wood colouring paint. I hate it - and he's not too impressed! How do I get it back to wood so I can varnish it with woodstain?? Many thanks.

This will take a lot of work and you may not be happy with the results.
You need to strip the paint off. Then sand. Be prepared to spend a couple of weekends doing this.
