Painting - painting rooms with shared walls

:p My Kitchen and Livingroom share walls I would like each room to have it's own color how do I achieve this without having a line down the wall.

That's a tuffy Ann...unless you have a break somewhere or architechural piece such as a column, or even a Japanese screen, it's tough. I think an attempt at 'blending' the edges of two colors across one wall is out of my league, although I'm sure there's a guru about somewhere that has actually done it. Perhaps a fresco-type effect along the shared wall might work, a blended 2 or 3 tone glaze. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Maybe you could repost your question in the decorate/design section.
