I have a lawn that is very, very thick an is like a trampoline. When you walk on it you sink in 2 inches or so. This cannot be normal? The grass is 4 inches above the sprinkler heads. What is the problem and how is it solved??

If the soil and grass together seem to be bouncy, you may have a water leak in the sprinkler system causing a 'cushy' sensation underfoot.
