I have a home built in 1910 that has the original Brick fireplace that has been covered with large pieces of stone that has been painted white. I would like to remove these stones, but I am unsure on how the best method would be to do so.
From what I can tell the brick seems to be ok, from what I can see around the opening. Also I can't visable see that cement has been sandwiched between the brick and stone. But I don't want to damage the brick.
Any suggestions for removal?
