I have an antique mahogany DR table that at some point was covered with formica. What is the best way to remove the formica?? The formica is still on tight. Thanks

This is one that I don't suggest for the Do It Your Self enthusiast.

If the table has any value beyond sentimental, take it a professional.

Formica is usually applied with contact cement, which (to put it mildly) is very tenacious. Lacquer thinner is the solvent, but removing a full top takes time, adequate ventilation, knowledge and patience.

Take it to a pro.
