I have lifted the carpet in my new home, in South London. The floor was laid with real Victorian tiles circa 1870. Under the grime and dirt they are beautiful and I wish to restore them. Any advice on how to get them clean?

Visit the ceramic section of your nearest Lowes or Home Depot. Aqua Mix has a full line of cleaners and sealers and strippers. Tile Lab also has full line. You could probably find both on the web.
