i have some tiger lilies where i'd like to plant a pink flowering ground cover. so for obvious aesthetic reasons , i'd like to give away the tiger lilies. when is the best time to transplant them , or should i treat them as iris? thank you. zone7

You could give them away now. Actually, you can start transplanting them as soon as they peek up from the ground.

thank you, i have decided to wait though as its supposed to freeze later this week down here. i wish the weather would even out, but im in no hurry for the high '90's.-zone
