 I am getting ready to install a backsplash and was wondering should I start from the wall or should I start in the center (like you would a floor) Also I have 1 side wall should that be tiled all the way or just to the end of the cabinets or not at all?

Hi:)
If it's a plain tile, without any fancy boarders or anything, then it looks best to start with a full tile at the ends of the counters, and have your cut tile in the corners(where it is usually hidden by something),,same thing with the end wall..make sure you have your full tiles out where you can see them...it doesn't look very good to have a cut tile starting your row.:)
