i would like to know what can i use to clean my hardwood floors. If i need to use some thing special.

Assuming you have a finish on the floors, either standard varnish or a polyurethane, Soap and water will do the trick. Just be sure to work teh mop back over the surface to remove as much water as possible.
In the past I've used murphy's oil soap, dish detergent and laundry liquids - they all work.
